MADNESS - Official Web Site
http://www.madness.co.uk

With a domain name like "madness.co.uk", it's an exceedingly safe wager that you're looking at the most official of the official websites. Ever wondered what Lee is mumbling and barking his way through on "Fireball XL5"? Check the lyrics section, which was so brilliantly transcribed by Chrissy Boy (who has his hand in pretty much every pie on the official site). Revel in firsthand accounts of what the song lyrics mean, both metaphorically and literally, submitted by the band themselves.

And by way of the Madness Anoraks, the sure highlight of the site is the historical/biographical Timeline, which features both information on their first run at stardom in the 80's and pictures from said time period. Infinitely more interesting to all fans across the board is the Official Message Board, where you get a chance to pose some direct Q&A to (primarily) Chrissy Boy. This is also your gateway to official Madswag.

MADSPACE - Official Myspace Profile
http://www.myspace.com/madnessofficial

The Madspace took to its heels, took root, and took off, all in the blink of a madman's eye. With regular competitions for autographed swag and concert tickets, the Madspace is much more interactive than any of the band's other web presences. The gig news is instantaneous; a word on upcoming releases is fired straight into your electronic text ear; ticket presales are their forte. Shall we be neglectful? No sir. Let's not neglect to mention that at the Madspace you'll also get the most current in exclusive photos and videos of our lads, be it just lounging around or right on through to the dynamics of Madness on stage.

You needn't be subscribed to MySpace to peek in on the Madspace, its pictures, blogs, and news, but you do need a profile if you want to post your comments and throw your name in the hat for competition prizes.

CRUNCH! on MySpace
http://www.myspace.com/crunchuk

The MySpace face for Lee Thompson and Chris Foreman's band Crunch! (once the Nutty Boys), this isn't the most active of websites, almost an afterthought when it comes to nuttiness on MySpace. Chrissy Boy set this site up after learning of the "Band Page" feature on MySpace, directing folks from his personal profile to the Crunch! profile when it comes to matters of Crunchiness.

CRUNCH! Official Web Site
http://www.crunch.uk.com

Run by Lee "Swanny" Swansdale, the Crunch! site boasts video clips, song lyrics, a discography, a photo gallery, and yet another way to pester Chrissy Boy (through Chris' Closet). Although Thommo's and Chrissy Boy's band is sporadically active at best, this is an excellent and informative site sure to please average and anorak fan alike.

THE DANCE BRIGADE
http://www.myspace.com/thedancebrigade

If you counted up all the concoctions and permutations of bands with Madness saxophonist Lee Thompson in the line up, you could be here for better than ten minutes, which is saying much more than the two minutes combined you'd score for the other six boys in the band. The Dance Brigade is the latest of Lee's projects, a collaboration with Jennie Matthias of The Bellestars (plus a host of other talented musicians). Watch tight: the Dance Brigade is sure to skank its way to the highest of heights.

MIS-ONLINE
http://www.mis-online.net

Launched by Robert Hazelby in 1999, the weekly MIS-Online email bulletin has been a necessary fixture for any true Madness fan shackled to their PC (or Mac, or Sun Station... whatever... propped in front of a monitor), at least on Sundays when the bulletin goes out to the masses. With information gleaned from sources far and wide, if you want a rundown of what's happening with the band or anything even remotely related to the band, be sure to send in your subscription. Go do it now. Also be sure to cruise by their site for a plethora of maddening downloads.

OUR HOUSE THE MUSICAL - Official Site
http://www.ourhousethemusical.co.uk

What do you get when you take powerhouse producer Tim Firth and let him loose with the hits of Madness? You get the musical love story of Joe and Sarah, as well as a nice little shelf adornment, the 2003 Olivier Award for Best Musical. Featuring the words and music of Madness, follow the split tales of "Good Joe" and "Bad Joe" as told through songs like "House of Fun," "Baggy Trousers," "It Must Be Love," and recent addition "NW5."

With an amazing run in London's West End, including a stint with Madness' own Suggs playing the role of Joe's father, on the 29th of May the show goes on the road, touring across the UK from Birmingham to Glasgow.

FRENCH MIS
http://french-mis.be

The French MIS, created by long-time Madness fan Jean-Pierre Boutellier (JP produced a pair ska radio shows called "Folie Complete" [1984 - 1993] and "Skanews" [1998 - 2004], broadcast in France and Belgium), was launched in 2004, the only French Madness news source to grace the green & blue globe. As the name implies, the spoken tongue at the French MIS is French, a welcome addition to the online nutty community which is primarliy English-heavy. Featuring news, interviews, pictures, discography, live acts, and links, make the French MIS a stop on your nutty online travels. C'est très bon!
