Into action with Madness Central Interactive!
No Madness fan community would be complete without a place to frolic and play. We'll have quizzes and contests, best-of lists and polls, fan contributions and geography lessons. Taken as a whole, Madness Central Interactive is a magically special amusement park sure to waste and while away the otherwise-unproductive stagnant hours at work. We're so sure you'll love Madness Central Interactive so much that we'll lay 10 to 1 odds that you'll forsake MySpace, YouTube and Facebook within 7.68 minutes of first landing here (payable in pre-1995 Mexican Pesos).

Do you know everything and more about the Los Palmas 7? Prove it! Ten questions means ten times the fun of one question! We'll be inquiring on all that is nutty and mad, from the simplistic like the license plate number from the "Driving In My Car" video to the mind-boggling like what Suggs had for breakfast on 3rd June 1983.
We'll be running the MadQuiz fortnightly so you'll have plenty of time to research the answers you don't know straight off the back. Just so you know, the majority of the answers can be had within the confines of the Madness Central website/forum and the archives of the Madness Central Yahoo! Group. Outside of that you'll do well scouring the tourbooks and liner notes. It'll be challenging but not impossible. Most importantly, it'll be mad mad mad!

Have you ever seen a picture of Madness and, with puzzled amazement, said to yourself, "Just what the blue blazes were they thinking?" Why not put some words in the mouths of Madness and answer that question for yourself?
The Nutty Caption features a weekly picture of our lads, either flying solo or as a group, where you'll have the opportunity to come up with a few expressive words to amuse the masses and have our boys cursing the paparazzi/adoring fan behind the lens. Suggs is squinting at the crowd... is he blinded by the glare of the spotlight or is he passing a kidney stone? His thoughts are up to you, the picture is your puppet, so post your Nutty Caption and have your/their say!

Started close to twenty two thousands years ago on the Total Madness Mailing List by the legendary Andrew Langmead, the Madchart is a cornerstone and the epitome of what Madness Central Interactive is all about. Fans from around the world send in their votes for their top twenty Madness songs and a scheme of weighted enumeration is applied: The top spot in each ballot receives twenty points, the last spot receives one, and the spectrum betwixt follows this inverse linear progression... it's really not so confusing as that, it just sounds more "technical" and "scientific" explained this way. The points are tallied for each song, and the results are posted after the Madchart voting period closes ...

Madness is very interesting, as evidenced by this massive site dedicated to all things nutty and mad. Almost as interesting are the fans of Madness. It's with this in mind that we've created Fan Central - Fan Central is where madfans come to shine.
We'll be hosting a series of interviews, articles and promotions from, for and by the fans of the Madness Central Community. Some of our initial submissions include a write-up on the history of The Liberty of Norton Folgate by prominent Madness Central contributors Graham Yates and Jonathan Young; a Q&A with world famous 2 Tone blogger Marco On The Bass; and Mr. Dank Donk Gordy speaking on his lovely ska band The Amphetameanies.
