In connection with their 30th anniversary Madness finally returned to Norway. It’s been 29 years since the last time they were here and this was something the Norwegian audience had been waiting for. The 14th of August they performed at the Øya festival 09’in Oslo with 10 000 people in the audience, the concert was also sent live on the internet so everyone that was interested had the opportunity to see them live. With a track list consisting both old and new hits and the natural way the band have with their fans this became one of the most successful concerts at Øya 09’

I forbindelse med sitt 30 års jubileum kom Madness endelig tilbake til Norge. Det har rukket å bli 29 år siden sist de var på besøk her og dette ble ett etterlengtet gjensyn med gruppen fra London. Den 14. August stilte de opp og spilte for ca. 10 000 personer på Øya festivalen 09’ i Oslo samtidig ble konserten sendt live på internett slik at alle som ønsket det også hadde muligheten til å se de. Med en lang rekke hits, både gamle og nye, og deres naturlige kontakt med publikum, ble denne konserten en av festivalens mest vellykkede.
