BBC Radio 1 - Five Years Of Madness (Parts One & Two)
Mining the knowledge base of the Madness Central Forum community has produced this exact information for the Five Years of Madness download.
This two part radio documentary on the Nutty Boys originally aired on 11th of August 1984 on Radio One from 5.30 to 6.30 (part one) with the second part airing a week later on the 18th of August at the same time.
The show was presented by famed Radio One dj Mike Smith, the lucky sod who married childrens TV presenter Sarah Greene. If you've downloaded The Lost from the Madness Central Downloads, you'll find a jingle from Madness for Mr. Smith in the mix.
A highlight of the documentary is an embryonic Madness performing a clip of the Motown classic "Shop Around."
